We are thrilled to share an important milestone: members of Mississippi Market Co-op and River Market Community Co-op have voted to approve the unification of our two organizations. 

In January 2026, we will officially launch as Rivers Cooperative Markets, owned collectively by more than 25,000 member-owners. 

What does this mean for you? Day to day, your co-op experience will remain familiar: 

• The same stores you love, with the same names and locations 

• Product mixes tailored to each neighborhood’s unique needs 

• Staff you know and trust, committed to exceptional service 

What comes next: Our boards and leadership start the work of aligning systems and streamlining processes. By strengthening our foundation, we aim to deepen support of local farmers and ensure long-term resilience.
